If your browser is in full screen mode click the middle icon in the upper right of your browser, between the - and X.  The window should get smaller if it doesn't hold your mouse on the edge of the window, any side of it. When a double arrow appears click the left button and drag the edge inward so you can see your desk top. Now just grab the icon in the address window click and drag it to your desk top. Show your children this icon and your done.
